Line not enabled yet!

[link to this post]

Hello everyone!

I was wandering if anyone has had a similar problem! I signed up to Tiscali on 22 August and i have yet to be connected to ADSL! I am now on the Tiscali LLU and had the wonderful email welcoming saying my line was now enabled and I have even had that awful USB modem however my line is still not sctive!

I know I had DACS on my line and with the lates Prodigy test results I still have DACS. Also my Dial-Up poor connection makes it look as if I am on DACS still too.

Everytime I call customer services or technial the firstly say everything is enabled. However when the look further into my account they say there is a problem and it has been handded to the network team. (in higher management i think they say i can not understand the call centre too well)

Anyways every night I go home to check the line and there is still no ADSL i have tried several routers as I thought it was a router problem. I have changed the filters. I have hard wired to the street to see if that help still no result! The ADSL is not there!

I keep getting promised 24 hours and it will be sorted. They keep telling me it is with the network team and it will be fixed however it has now been 6 days since i got the modem and email comfirming I was connected!

I am sick and tired of calling them now and really just want to get connected. I have considered getting a new bulldog line being put in but i do not really want to spend the

You are damned by your choice of ISP. Good luck and tell everyone you meet how bad they are, write to the paper, radio station etc.
