Max suddenly dropped to 2Mbps connection

[link to this post]

Hi,

My Max connection has suddenly dropped back to a 2Mbps line sync of 2272/288 a few days ago and re-syncs at this speed even if I turn off the router overnight (for about 14h). I've been on Max for about 2 months and it has always synced at 8128/488 with few disconnections. The current SNR/ATT figures are 24/26 DOWN and 30/14 UP. Can anyone help with how to reset the connection?

Thanks.

talk to your ISP (who is it) as you have been moved onto the wrong sort of connection.

Yes, to clarify...a fixed speed 2Mbps connection.

Giving UKFSN/Entanet a try
DL Sync 4600+ (now 2464 and screwed up by pointless 15db SNR target)
UL Sync 448

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I'm with Pipex. I'd been on the 2Mbps for a year or so and was migrated to Max in August. I'll contact them, as you suggest, and see what happens.

Thanks,

Dan
