I've been having some problems getting booted off my favourite game ( World of Warcraft ) recently, and it looks like I'm suffering from packet loss. Last night I was experiencing about 0.5% loss between my pc ( I operate over WIFI ) and the modem and about 5% between the pc and my gateway ip.This morning the loss to my gateway had dropped down to 0.5% with the same modem loss.

I dont know much about contention, but could it show this sort of packet loss behaviour?

Are there any software tools out there that could plot packet loss over time.I've been using something called pingeasy, which is ok, but doesnt do plots over time.
