Huge SN Margin drops

[link to this post]

I have had this problem for sometime now and no one seems able or willing to fix it.

I have had adsl since 2000, adsl max since april when I synced @ 7mb and was very stable. I have now gone for adsl2+ with BE and the router wont hold the connection for more than 30 secs. The reason is HUGE SN margin inverse spikes, to about -60db.

Openreach have replaced the tie pairs, but this had no effect.

Can anyone help?

tried a different modem or router ?

try putting it to G.dmt (G992.1) mode to see if you get a better deal on standard ADSL rather than ADSL2+
