Upgraded NTE5 socket

Hi I'm with Demon and are currently on a 1Mb connection. Typical line stats were Attenuation 57 and SNR 9 vai my D link router using standard phone extension in my computer room.

Yesterday I installed a new filtered Clarity NTE5 faceplate and ran a cta 5 cable to my router position. I have now removed the plug in filters and new stats are as follows atttenuation 56 and SNR varies but so far between 15 and 19 so appears to be worth the hastle.

BT checker staes that I might get 1.5Mb but using the new stats in one of the online checkers I may get 3mB when I'm upgrade in December! Fingers crossed. Any thoughts

Leave it plugged in would be my first thought
