Low(er) Sync

I've had MaxDSL since April and have always sync'd at 8mb with no problems at all.

I've recently started to sync at 7648 (and have a BRAS of 5mb).

My line statsare -

SNR - (12 up to 15db Down/26db Up)
Attn - (9db Down/2db Up)

Can anyone explain why, with line stats as above, I would sync any lower than 8128?

Errors and/or random disconnects coupled with periods of lower sync speed as indicated by your BRAS profile, possibly.

interleaving been turned on ?
