And we'll only work on the first 3 metres of internal wiring, so nte5 on old builds will get moved to within 3 metres of cable entry.

Ohh, I don't know..... I don't like the way BT as a company do things, but I've never been treated unfairly by the engineers who have visited my premises. Last year a nearby lightning strike damaged one of my ADSL filters which caused a bizarre problem with my DECT phone. It took BT hours to find the fault, and they could in theory have charged me for it. They didn't.
