Is this an RJ11 cable?

[link to this post]

The instructions for my new BB stress the importance of an RJ11 cable and enclose one which is not long enough. My existing cable has the following printed on it: E119932-J 20251 60^C (I've used ^ for the 'degree' symbol) 150V 26AWG

Am I right in saying it's an RJ11?

Thanks in advance

RJ11 is the plug on the end and has nothing to do with the cable.

True, but many sellers class a cable with an RJ11 at each end as an "RJ11 cable". Beware of using long cables on ADSL routers, they can mess up your noise margins.

Just for a bit of info (and not really related), but if you hold down the left 'Alt' key and type 2 4 8 on the numerical keypad (Num Lock has to be on) you get the degree symbol.

Assuming of course that you're using Windows. On a Mac it's rather simpler and more intuitive (as is often the case) - just type 'Alt' 0.
