Evening All,
After numerous lovely phonecalls to BT in India I had an engineer visit who increased my speed due to internal wiring and cutting off the other redundant extensions and asking the techhie boys and girls at BT to increase my profile...I went from a downspeed of 236 kbps to 1600 kbps in a matter of moments.
This was Wednesday 21st during the day and in the evening there was some kind of outage on my brandband and the downstream dropped back down to 1024 and download speeds of circa anything between 250-500kbps. Unfortunately on Thursday 23rd I had a wireless problemo and also had to reboot the hub.
I rebooted the old home hub and saw the downstream jump back up to 1856kbps and it's been this constant for 1 day and almost 22 hours.
Reading lots of posts am I right in thinking that if my downstream remains constant I may be getting better speeds come Monday evening, aka after the 3 days of ensuring my BT profile remains constant
