'Loss of synchronization' DG834G

I'm using a netgear DG834Gv2 router (with latest firmware), and I'm with Bulldog. Recently I've started getting messages like these in the router log:

Sun, 2007-03-04 19:07:48 - Loss of synchronization :2
Sun, 2007-03-04 19:44:19 - Loss of synchronization :3

Seem to get one or two an hour. It's seems to resync almost immediately. I was running a cmd window just pinging bbc.co.uk repeatedly and it only missed one reply, with a 'Request Timed Out'. So it's not a problem for browsing, but it's causing havoc on the games I'm trying to play. It's only out for a short time but games like supreme commander can't recover after one happens, which is every 30-45mins.

Anything I can try to solve this? I don't know where to start.

Try getting your hands on a beta firmware. I'm using a beta on my 834g-v1 which isn't available on the netgear website.

Also if the v2 differs in chipsets from the v1 you may be able to set your target noise margin which may resolve the issue.

You do have filters plugged into all your phone sockets don't you?

Yes I do, and I don't think you can set target noise margin on the v2 (anyone know for sure?).

They've slowed down a bit now, I only get around 2-3 a day which is a lot better. Still annoying though.

No, you can't set a target noise margin on the DG834G, on any version.

Think you have to have a GT to be able to do it.

Oh yeah, I just remembered it runs on a different chipset
