Master Socket

[link to this post]

Hello,

I'm looking to add an ADSL master socket. I have found 3 'versions':

Solwise http://www.solwise.co.uk/adsl_splitters.htm
Clarity http://www.clarity.it/xcart/product.php?productid=16134&cat=262&page=1
ADSL Nation: http://www.adslnation.com/products/xte2005.php

What is the better one, or are they the same quality wise?

Thanks

What do you mean "add a master socket"
There should only be one master on a line and thats Openreach's.
What type of socket , if any, do you have now?

Just to clear up any misunderstading that may exist, what you are asking about are filter faceplates. To use one of these you must already have a NTE-5 master socket, (the one with the test socket.)
So assuming you have, there is very little if anything to chose between them performance wise, the Clarity and Solwise are modded BT filters and some say are better constructed, but again there is not much in it.
Just a small point, if you have any extension sockets, make sure they are dead when the test socket of the master is exposed. There should be no dial tone at any socket other than the test socket when it is exposed.
