At the beginning of the year I tried to migrate away from Pipex to Be for their 24mb services. I obtained the MAC code from pipex and given to Be and it was instantly refused by Be's customer service, saying the MAC code was invalid. I tried to contact both companies and had no luck. I left it for a few months due to work. Now I've tried again to see if I could migrate away again with a new MAC code requested from pipex, I was told it's also an invalid one.
Pipex told me they double checked and the MAC code generated is 100% correct (or I'll have to pay for another month's subscription fee to get another MAC) and Be said the BT side just simply refuses the MAC.
Btw this is the MAC code given to me, from Pipex. Copy & Pasted from the e-mail directly:
LLLW*******/GB**P (edited out the numbers for safety reason)
Is there anything I can do about it? Happened twice now :/
