ADSL Filters

Would someone please advise me how to check whether filter is working.

Reboot your modem/router with and without the filter (and filtered device) connected and make a note of the router stats. Only do this once or twice. See if there is a difference.

Best method is to check by substitution. It's useful to have a spare filter anyway, because they can be knocked out by HV pulses on the line caused by lightning discharges nearby.
