50mbps Speeds (Windows 7 & XP)

[link to this post]

I have 3 machines with different OS's.
Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit)
Windows XP Professional

I am looking for the optimal speeds of all machines and how to obtain them (registry tweaks, Netsh Commands)

My router is a WNR2000.
My Windows 7 Machine has a WN111V2 USB Adapter.

I am on virgin XXL package there should obtain close to 50MBPS. All I am getting is 3MB on the WIndows 7 ULtimate machine.

Answers please smile

I'd start looking here - My Windows 7 Machine has a WN111V2 USB Adapter.

To rule wireless in or out as being your problem try ethernet. If that cuts the mustard then you have your answer.

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem.
