My exchange (WSBRW) was recently unbundled. Is there a way to verify I'm actually using LLU?
Brief router stats...
Mode: ADSL2+
Bandwidth: Down/Up 20950/928
SNR: Down/Up 5.9/7.2
Attenuation: Down/Up 4.0/2.5
Typical Download/Upload speeds are 17592Kbps/758Kbps
On TT Essentials, approx 800yds from exchange.
Any thoughts appreciated.

I'd guess you are based on that sync alone. I don't think TT are doing ADSL2+ via BT at this time.

Any thoughts appreciated. Almost certainly LLU since you sync above 8Mb/s and your exchange doesn't look to have had the 21CN update.

Is there a way to verify I'm actually using LLU? Try connecting to the BT speedtester http://speedtester.bt.com .
If you can, you're not.
If you are you'll get an error message, but not being on an LLU'd line myself I'm not sure what it is.

Performance Tester is unable to run the speed test for your telephone number... Because it's been LLU'd

Indeed
After a bit more research I discovered that if you dial 17070 on an LLU connection the automated voice reads back your phone number twice then hangs up. Not sure if it is a valid test but it seems to work for others.
Thanks for the prompt replies

Presumably that only applies if the voice side of things has been unbundled too... could be useful, thanks

I am with TT LLU and all I get is my circuit defined as : then my number. This plays twice and then cuts off.

AS billford points out, this must be cuz your line is Full LLU'd by TT.
In other words, if BT don't own your line, they won't provide Line services on it

It depends which LLU voice provider you dial 17070 to, one (can't recall which, but might be Easynet/Sky) rewards you with the Tinkerbell-ish, "Hi I'm Zoe, I'm here to help, etc, etc, etc" Most irritating.
