The celler extends to the back of the house rather the frount.
Plus the old owners decided to get rid of the wood flooring and replaced it with concreate frown

I wouldnt be supprised - juding from some of the stuff thats been done in the house.

That might still be the internal feed, now you've stopped running the chair over it, the loop fault has gone.

Don't take the skirting off. The cable will be better/safer mounted to the top of the skirting.

Or, if the skirting is fitted correctly at about 10mm above the floor then eased into that gap. Unseen, safe and protected.
