Packet loss since upgrade

[link to this post]

BT upgraded my local exchange on Tuesday to give better speed. Tuesday was all over the place with the link up and down, but eventually BT reset the line and it's been a lot better since Friday.

However, pointing ping towards bbc.co.uk for any length of time gives a packet loss of 2-3%. They've said this is okay, I'm not so sure. What's other people's opinion?

BTW - I don't know what it was like before the upgrade!

Almost certainly a fault within BT's implementation of 21CN. e.g. look at http://status.aaisp.net.uk/?incident=544

Thanks John, I'll let them know it's knackered when they call me on Monday.

Is 2-3% too high would you say?
