My connection keeps dropping.
I have noticed an increase in speed, im wondering if Pipex have upgraded the exchange and thats why my connection is poor?

Pipex isn't pipex anymore, and they aren't adding any more LLUs. Maybe Tiscali/Talktalk/Opal (whatever pipex fall under) have bought more IP capacity.

You will have been moved onto a new platform as suggested hence the speed increase, however if your line is sub-optimal then this could cause issues.
