Exchange Virtual Paths red for last few months

Hi using plus nets exchange checker i have noticed that the issue of the Hermitage exchange Virtual Paths has remained red now for a few months.

There is a ETA on a fix, my query is what will be done at the exchange, will it be just a increase in capacity or will there be a upgrade of the Exchange considering there's not been any upgrades since 2003.

usually it is a "redimensioning" of virtual paths within the existing capacity. If the existing capacity is full then an additional fibre may need to be provided or the existing fibre equipment upgraded / replaced to a higher throughput.

Thanks for the reply, maybe one day the exchange will get a upgrade to provide better services.
