Broadband Quality Monitor

[link to this post]

Wondered if anyone could help with the Broadband Quality Monitor, it's solid red at the moment so I'm assuming that incoming ping reqs are being blocked.

I have a Zoom 5751 x4 and I cant find anything that allows/blocks a ping. My IP hasnt changed and I got it to work on my old Belkin.

According to the manual - http://www.zoom.com/documentation/adsl/5760-5751_Use... - you need to go to "Management Acces Control" and then "Services". In there you should be able to allow ICMP ping requests.

Have you tried telnetting to the CLI interface?

One way that works on other routers is to put a PC or device in the DMZ and ping that.
