Line stabilisation period?

Hi,

Currently with Vivaciti, just moved from their Enta-supplied ADSL Max to ADSL2+ LLU ("Surfwise Variety"). Not massively impressed so far, only been on it about 26 hours and already experiencing line drops (2 in the last hour).

Spoke to their support today, they claim there is a line stabilisation period of 10 days. This is in direct contrast to someone at Vivaciti I spoke to yesterday who categorically said no such thing occurs (I asked the question directly).

Is the stabilisation thing true? Not massively impressed with the speed either, although it is a bit faster than what I was getting before.

If you could drop us a ticket and if you could let us know the support agent you spoke to as it would seem like a little bit of extra training may be required.
There is no 10 day period on LLU (and most of it on IPStream is a myth)
Drop a ticket to us with your full ADSL line stats and we can take another look at it. It may be that the line length means you don't see much better from ADSL2+, in that case we could try ADSL2.
