you may as well just use the FTTC postcode checker to see if your area is enabled or imminent, and the line checker to see if you can order a service.
It might be interesting, but there's nothing to be gained by micromanaging the detail as there's not a lot you can do if the answer is one you don't want to hear.
The is a postcode cabinet spreadsheet leaked some months ago on the internet, if you post your postcode someone might look it up for you. If its a recently announced exchange then you're back to my comments above.
