is Horam exchange down?

2 of my routers haven't been able to get a DSL sync with the exchange for the last hour, number is 01435. Are they having issues?

BT list 01434 (Scottish Boarders) as having a problem http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/service_status but it looks like your one digit difference is at the other end of the country...

Yeah Horam is in the South East England

Line seems fine now but I lost a lot of speed, it's at 736kbps and SNR rose to 26 dB :/

Restart modem, looks like a noise source was the cause, and modem resynced before the source had fully gone away. Now it has you have lots of spare margin, but modems do not automatically resync to make use of this.

Aha thanks, sorted now after rebooting. Initially I didn't want to reboot as I thought the exchange limited me at 26 dB for disconnecting lots of times this morning, thinking rebooting would make it worse. I've seen happen in the past when I got pushed up to 9 dB and then 12dB when I fiddled with router config/reboots or wiring, took 3 weeks to recover it back to 6dB or so.

IP profile is still 512kb, gotta wait it out I guess.
