Ive been with talk talk since october using their supplied Dlink 2680 and Im getting speeds (using speedtest.net) of 8-9Mbps) But the wifi range is poor.
So I've got a Belkin N600 DB modem/router and set it up using same settings as the Dlink. Wi-Fi all good now. But using speediest again I can only achieve speeds of 1-2.5Mbps. Ive tried the N600 in my dads house and he has BT and he gets speeds over 4Mbps as he should.
So its something between my Belkin and TalkTalk. The Belkin shows a downstream connection of around 11500kbps. THe Dlink is a little less, but over 11000kbps.
My exchange is LLU Talk Talk enabled.
So Im stumped, what could be wrong.
MTU and VCI settings etc are the same in my Belkin as my Dlink.
