There is a new line installed (2012) and the Master socket has a split faceplate with Openreach logo which from the guide I understand means that it has iPlate filter functionality already built in. It is in a corner of the house.
To get this functionality does the wireless ADSL-router have to be plugged into the master socket or will it still benefit if it is plugged into one of the extension sockets elsewhere e.g. in the hall in the centre of house to get better wireless spread? [I realise each point will need microfiters).
Thanks. Sorry for simple question.
