Hi,

I just wondered if there is anything that could be done to increase my downstream sync speed, I am connected directly to my exchange and i'm about 800m away from it.

Please include the duration of the ADSL connection with the stats - and even the time since the last boot if possible.

Ideally you should be seeing a downstream sync of just over 13000Kbps - but if your connection is stable at 12239Kbps then I reckon that's acceptable

Have you checked your internal telephone wiring and if you have extension sockets disconnected wire number 3 the bell wire, which can cause interference with the broadband signal? Only wire connections number 2 and 5 required now for modern phones.

Slightly on slow side but acceptable.

It's holding Fast Path showing line stable.

Please post "Time Connected" from top Status page, at same time as stats, so we can assess error rates.

Yes I've disconnected the bell wires.

Exchange may be 800m but telephone line seems to be about 2 to 2.5km long
