EE router stats all look okay? Help needed!

Hi, I have been with EE for a little while and it feels as though streaming is being throttled. Playback stutters to the point it is unwatchable.

Do the stats I got from my router look okay to you?

My apologies to ask, but it is driving me crazy! Any help or suggestions from someone clever would be really helpful.

What exchange? EE heavily traffic manages streaming and suchlike in its 'out-of-area' exchanges, altho' it's all supplied by BTw now. Only I & EE know which these are .

Bracknell is my nearest exchange according to Sam Knows.
And I am approximately 2.55km from the exchange as the crow flies.

Is my distance from the exchange a factor?

I thought EE only limited p2p traffic? A bit rubbish if they also throttle streaming at 'peak'
hours!

I noticed a slight hum on my line when I dial 1, but cant be sure this isn't down to a cheap as chips corded phone. (master socket)

From the second TBB file everything looks as it should. The first to me indicates a congestion or throttling problem.
About 7 or 8 pm can you go to think broadband in Internet Explorer then "tools" then "downloads" and download a 100Mb file, "save" this file from resulting pop up, then "view download" from resulting pop up. You should see varying like
11% at 1.2mb or could be 11% at 650kb.
It would be interesting what the mb / kb figure is and if it varies during download.
You could try dialling 17020 and option 2 for a quiet line test.

It's OK, Bracknell is not EE 'out-of-area'. So only P2P and newsgroups should be throttled there.

Can you run BBC iPlayer Diagnostics at times when streaming is OK and when it isn't, and post results.

Also run: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test, carry on to Further Diagnostics at bottom and post text boxes.

Cheap corded phones are best for the QLT.

Brightbox 2 you say? How would i go about proving to the unhelpful call centre that i need this bit of kit. So far I have found them most unhelpful and rather frustrating...

Some stats whilst I tested the line at 4pm today and streaming seemed pretty good:

Download speed achieved during the test was - 3.52 Mbps

Will test again when things slow down again.
