Is there somekind of wifi energy saving system built in i am missing that shuts it down if nothing is connected? that would explain what i see.
It does! seem to reset if 1 or no wifi devices are connected. However if 1 or more is it has never reset or done anything wrong during streaming netflix or online gaming on a wifi connected wiii u.
router wifi uptime page screenshot
As you can see from that screenshot. Since last router reboot lan and wan got up and running during the router booting. So did the wifi at the time. But the wifi just happens to reset or turn itself off or reboot itself as said above.
We're not talking about my line stats which are in screenshot. My speed for my line length and attenuation is not totally bad and ping is good not too bothered about that and i don't think we could make it much faster.
Already got it up from 7000+ kbit and 950kbit upload so i've improved it myself quite abit following advice already posted here and else where.
Anyone who knows about router Wifi techs help would be appreciated.
If it helps the router in question is a old Sky D link manufactured router. So it says Sky on it etc but also says "manufactured by D link" at the back. It's before Sky started the home hubs.
