Just been checking my present Broadband Attenuations versus my previous ADSL Attenuations.
ADSL (Before 5th June 2014)
1286 Metres Full Line Length, E+D, Exchange to House
250 Metres D side only, PCP to House
24.5 db, Downstream Average over previous 2 years.
11.5 db Upstream Average over previous 2 years.
Broadband VDSL (After 5th June 2014)
300 Metres FTTC via PCP to House
Instantaneous Attenuations this morning,
have been similar over the VDSL period, very slight fluctuations.
14.9 db Downstream
11.5 db Upstream
=====================
No problems, simply my curiosity.
Particularly wondering why the BB Upsteam does not show the proportionate reduction of the BB Downstream, realative to the original ADSL figures.
Again, I am not having problems, just wondering why there should be such a difference with the BB Upstream.
