Chromecast All4

Casting All4 from my PC has just developed a new quirk.

If I stop casting, the program carries on unabated on the TV!

If I close down the browser the program still continues. If I shut down the PC the program is still being shown on the TV.

The only was I could stop the program being shown was to disconnect /reconnect the router.

I then experimented with the Android All4 App on my Nexus tablet. Exactly the same thing happens. Once the program has started you are stuck with it unless you take drastic action.

Pausing the programme works fine. To stop playing I used the C/Cast icon and 'disconnect' this returns the TV to the C/Cast desktop, seems ok.


What I can't get to work is QuestOD.
You get to see the C/Cast icon once the programme starts (after ads) but when I use this the TV looks as if it's going to start casting but then it returns to the desktop and fails to play - no error issued. Can you see if you have any luck with this?

QuestOD works OK for me from PC and tablet using the standard "Share your screen" icons, but not from the Icon within the App (which doesn't appear on the PC).

All4 is disconnecting OK now. Fingers crossed.
