Grateful for Inifinity to Sky switch advice

If anyone can advise I would be very grateful and apologies if in wrong section.

I have trawled through searches and not finding the same level of issue I have, maybe it's a fault or are we doing something wrong.

We switched from Infinity2 to SkyMax last week.

When infinity was installed we had;

78mb down
20mb up

From the second it was switched on (never went down ever and never failed) and now;

With Sky (new Q hub connected to existing dedicated infinity socket)

12mb down
10mb up

At signup I was estimated what I had with infinity!

To say I am disappointed is a total understatement, to get only 15% the speed I had before is laughable and quite frankly embarrassing for Sky.

I read the stuff about 10 days learning, but there has been no change at all in 7 days.

Is this normal? Should I only be paying 15% lol

If you found people talking about 10 day learning on VDSL2 (fibre) then they are wrong it does not exist.

The speeds you give are those connection speeds from the routers web interface OR speed test results?

We have seen some odd issues with the Sky Q Hub i.e. variable or poor VDSL2 speeds seem relatively common. If you plug in your old HomeHub it won't connect but you may be able to see what connection speed it reports if that's still good, then you need a replacement Sky Q Hub

Of course it could just be that Sky have ordered the OP's line back on to ADSL ..... ?

Stats will reveal this either way. Does the Sky Q box thing not show them I've not met one yet.

They have a 10Mbps upload so it seems unlikely. Sky Q Hub will display the sync speed yes.
