So there's a shiny new all-in-one FTTC cabinet connected to my line (around 2.7km away upstream at a reported openreach cable length).
My question is how can I get Openreach to correct their database accessible at http://dslchecker.bt.com?
Clearly while I shouldn't achieve 'superfast' (+24Mbps), I should sync at around 10Mbps.
Yet Openreach's system shows no availability.
The cabinet went live on the 2nd of Jan, I know this because it has been confirmed both by a friend who lives next to it who saw a +50Mbps uplift in sync speeds that day & the local authority who paid for this via BDUK has confirmed, together with a query to Openreach.
The reason I know that the database hasn't been updated is that my cabinet adjacent friend's http://dslchecker.bt.com test shows max sync rate of 28Mbps clean. As mentioned above, he's already achieving 70+Mbps.
I've been checking the openreach database daily - because we're so far from the exchange that ADSL doesn't even work here and the previous DSLAM is beyond service reach, but for over a month the OR database is still not showing the right data (either for here, or at the house just next door to the cabinet)
Does anyone know how to get Openreach to look at the issue? I can't order VDSL, even though it should work at a slow rate because none of the ISP's believe my line can get it.
anyone have any direct ways of raising a ticket. Have tried the Openreach support ticket page - they assure me the database is current, but it evidently isn't. thanks
[My own google based measurements show a shorter cable run, but that equivalent length of 2.7km line would make sense given the 20% toll implied by sections of direct buried aluminium]
