Are you trying to access the router from a laptop? This could be a cache issue as you could be accessing the same IP address (192.168.0.1) from a different location and it's THAT router that is being displayed. This would be pulled from the cache. I would recommend clearing all your caches (browser and using ipconfig /flushdns (if using Windows laptop)) and trying to connect to the router. I've had this issue in the past when I connected to networks that have used the same IP address for the router.

and by doing that you are potentially wiping out any unsaved passwords. Doing a dns cache flush, is sometimes helpful but not at a lan level.
You could have said, create a new browser profile, have you tried another browser or pc.
But none of these are needed atm, dfscale's suggestion is the thing he needs to do and then detour to virgin media's website.
