speedtest graphs

Sorry if this post is in the wrong Forum but I did a search and coudn't find a related topic.
Since the beginning of December the usual graph profile has changed and made the internet almost unusable at most times of the day after about 3pm with download speeds less than 1. My connection rate is 6144/448. Unable to contact "support" at Post Office although I'm still trying. Just done a speedtest and this is the graph:

Can anyone advise if this is screaming out anything which may help to identify what the problem might be when I eventually contact Support. I should add that the BT Wholesale speedtest will not complete for further diagnostics and it states it hasn't the information for my line!
Please note I'm really not very knowlegeable about broadband and computers - I just want to be able to use it!

I've just looked at the replies to Bluepurple and my graphs are similar (also similar distance from exchange) but the BTW speedtest won't complete to show my IP Profile - it was 5.0 back at the beginning of December when all was ok. Gave up on contacting PO support again today after 20 mins. Speedtest Graph tonight:

I'll see what transpires when Bluepurple posts his 100MB results but can anyone advise why the BTW speedtest won't complete.

I see no resemblance to Bluepurple's EE streaming issue. Your graphs are dissimilar, your line is shorter than his (guess @ about 44 dB attenuation).

Post your router stats.

This is from the router originally provided by the Post Office which I've had connected since supplied by them. Please note the uptime was over 800 hours, although I didn't make a note, before I reset a few days ago to undertake the BTW speedtest for IP Profile. Hope this is the information you require. Your sync speeds are good for ADSL Max that you are on.

Your issue must be congestion in the PO system. They are infamous for this and don't buy enough capacity.

Thoght PO was going over to TT. What exchange? Is TT LLU'ed there?

Speed test graphs point towards a congestion issue.

Sorry for late response but this is my first chance to try and catch up. I managed to speak to someone technical last night at PO (after going through accounts and perservering) They got me to reset the router with the password - said they could see the fault. It looked ok at the time. Logged on tonight and the graphs are all over the place with less than 1.0 shown on the TB speedtest. I had no problem until the beginning of December when it was anounced that faster speeds were being rolled out here. I'm on Broadband "Extra" so I'm wondering what the extra is! Any suggestions other than going back to BT?

You'll get no 'Extra' over ADSL Max unless they are.

What I don't understand is that my connection was fine until until the beginning of December and was getting 5Mbps. Just look at this from tonight (I made a cup of coffee whilst TBB was loading). Is there anything I can get back to the PO tech staff about?

What results do you get from the BTw performance diagnostic test, complete the first test then look for the further diagnostic test button at/near the bottom of web page?
