Trouble is that until VM completes its network improvement programme, 2 or 3 100 Meg customers can cause congestion for all the users in an area.

Not that BT is immune to the problem either, just more obvious due to the congestion on upstream with VM

Well 9th March, and nearly getting there
BT Open Reach been here today 7 line tests, removed / cut back cables inside & outside. New Main socket etc
As had line noise for last 3 weeks , so Talk Talk required line noise problem fixed first. So Now will get Talk Talk to do another SNR Margin Reset, then will give it 14 days or so, see what speed I am getting then, with Router in main BT Socket.
All fun.
Now to leave message for them on Talk Talk members forum.

Yeah I'm guessing its up to cab 9 only because my phone number in the bt wholesale checker only makes mention of adsl (up to 6mbs!...pah, I get 2.4max!). I don't think this is likely to change. I connect to cab 10 or 12

hi there,

Well have given up, loads of complaints to TalkTalk
They are 100% useless, finally got my money back for 3 months internet for FREE as promised way back in December!
Now getting around 1meg to 1.6meg, all the time so at least it is stable!
Just waiting for cabinet to be connected for Fibre Optic, then changing to Plusnet or BT. No wonder Talk Talk are loosing hundreds of customers weekly!
So my 3 megs is history....lol

not surprised really Talk Talk are the most useless bunch of 2 faced liars going, wish i had a pound for every post on their forums complaining about [censored] or no broadband, but don't try and tell them that because their stazi propaganda mods will delete the truth. set of crooks glad i left them.
