Orange Broadband Intermittent connection drops

after not long signing up to orange ive been getting drops in connection. im using a brightbox router and a new filter.

basically after using it itll randomly disconnect from the internet the globe light will fash for about 30 seconds then reconnect. i cant find any explanation as to why

i rang support and got the troubleshooting equivalent of "have you turned it off then on again"


ive reset router to factory settings, changed filters and sacrificed a goat but im running out of ideas

Please supply router stats.

Plug into test socket behind faceplate of master socket, disconnect all phones, and see if discons go away. Stats from here too.

ive done that and theyre still there, i dont have a phone

If that Uptime about corresponds with the full stats you posted then you have a lot of errors.

I reckon that, on Fast Path, Time Connected in Secs / Error Secs (ES) should be about > 60 (on Interleaved it would be far higher), i.e no more than 1 ES per Min.

However, router does not always reset ES on a resync. So reboot router and measure these after a few hours at least.

ive tried rebooting router to no avail. i reset it and then it happens ive also factory reset the router
