Sky BB Slowwwww

Looking at samknows I am around 500 meters away from the exchange, and I am still only getting 0.91Mbps..

Numerous calls to Sky to no avail, am at a loss as to what I can do, the router is reporting 8Mb however I know that is not reliable as a point of reference for speed but I would hope to manage to get over 1mb..

Frustrated !!

Anyone else had any similar issues and can give me pointers on how to get Sky to actually do something other than say there is no problem..

It's just not fit for purpose..

Do you have the full stats from the router i.e.

If that is reporting an 8000 Kbps downstream connection speed and you are using Ethernet NOT wireless then looks like not an ADSL issue, but maybe PC configuration in which case run http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html and post the full result link, the shape of the graphs can help identify some problems.

Is it Sky broadband connect & how are you measuring speed - over WiFi? If so try a wire...
Also stats would be good as already suggested
