Sky changing prices after taking over O2

When we were with O2, our bill was about £25 a month, which included internet and phone. We have just got our first bill from Sky, and its £40. Does anyone know if Sky have changed the price plans? When we go on the Sky website, the only info we can find is for us to go to O2, but O2 say we need to ask Sky. Any suggestions?

Didn't Sky send you a letter before the move detailing the price you will be paying?

Have Sky standardised it to a particular day of the month for payments? You may have paid for more than 1 month to get it to a standard billing date? Doesn't the bill tell you what you have paid for?
