Vodafone

[link to this post]

Switched to Vodafone in February this year and was getting speeds of 75mb (FTTC) up until May when speeds are now between 15 and 35mb with no changes to home set up. Raised with Vodafone back in May and they are reluctant to send engineer as no fault on line which i contest due to slow speeds and connection drops. I have had 2 new routers to rule out fault with the router but still poor speeds and Vodafone not looking to resolve any time soon as complaint resolution due date is set at August.

Good luck with your complaint. There is a Vodafone Community website HERE where I used to read about Vodafone broadband issues,

Thanks for that and hopefully can it resolved sooner rather than later as at a loss where to go from here tbh.

Vodafone like most ISPs ( if not all ) provide a minimum speed guarantee , this is from their website,

We aim to provide you with the best possible service, but if your download speed falls below the guaranteed minimum on 3 consecutive days and we're not able to fix within 30 days, you can leave us without having to pay an early contract termination fee.

Although potentially having to wait a month until early August ( presumably your report has started the clock ticking ) , if the speed isn’t returned to the minimum guaranteed at least you can leave for someone else that will get the speed to where it should be .

You should keep raising this with them and focus on the "it was better before I moved" point.. and tell them above..

As it's FTTC, do you still have a copper phone service? Is there noise on the line?
