Damage to property - Openreach

[link to this post]

So, Openreach installed full fibre on my property.

There are 2 chambers on my road serving 8 properties. 1 of the chambers is on my property and serves 4 of the properties.

In March 26 Openreach connected up and upgraded the chamber on my property to full fibre for all 4 properties.

As they were doing this they had to take down (kill) 2 conifers, destroyed a flower bed and disrupted all of the shingle and damaged the weed membranes.

The conifers and flower beds were present prior to me moving in to the property and I was unaware that there was a chamber at the front of my property.
The installer (patch lead) asked for permission which I gave and advised that I would be compensated to make good the damage they caused.
I called EE who also advised this would be fine.
3 months have passed, I’ve completed 3 different claim forms and provided pre and post images.
The arbitrator Keoghs now tell me that I need to keep the area clear for future access (I’m fine with this) but have still not come to a decision on any compensation.
My garden is a mess and I’m reluctant to make good out of my own pocket.

I’m here asking if there is any case law around this situation or if others have experienced the same and anything I can do to expedite this situation.
