Modem Tweaks

Im due to be connected end of next week and was wondering if there was any teaks that can be done to the modem / router.

But you could tweak windows ... if you can be bothered.

There are tweaks out there for the modem...however it's illegal and if you do you'll get your connection terminated and a hefty fine. So probably best if not.

I read a ebook on cable modem tweaks but it was about 10 years old and was not sure if it was still relevant, i was thinking more of tweaks using command line and something that will not have them knocking on my door - but i guess no playin then.

My OS is pretty much tweaked so unless i decide to go and have a play with vista at some stage.
