As far as I'm aware Virgin only provide the cable modem. You'll need to get your own router.

they do! you need to get a wireless router just nip down to your local pc store and ask for a 54g wireless router thats ok to work with cable NOT ADSL! (they're not compatable), then all you do is plug the wireless router into your cable modem, (blue cable from cable modem to WAN port on the back of the wireless router), setup the WPA security and away u go!

Your looking around 30 for a decent wireless router.

I listed one on here recently was only 25 someone asked the same question (do a search)

cheers for that folks, how hard is it to set up WPA security, is that to stop people picking up my wireless connection. if u use blue cable to connect to router what do i connect to my pc, sorry for sounding like an idiot but with my connection now its just a sinlge modem/router, also i use Vonage for making VOIP calls so where i plug that in, the modem or router, thanks again.

yeah you use an ethernet cable to link from wireless router to your pc. Obviously the cable modem has already been connected to the wireless router..

that one sounds fine..
