Im just about to hit 500GB and I was wondering what other people download? I don't want to take the mickey but it's not my fault most online streams thesedays are HD/Blueray

Let's have a bit less of the 'online streams these days are HD/Bluray' nonsense - there are no Bluray streams online beyond perhaps test streams as that would require a connection of upwards of 20Mbit and even HD streams are only around 4Mbit MP4/AVC.

To answer the question about 2GB/day at the moment, including working from home twice a week.

Lets have a bit less of the uneducated responses. Go and find them I can assure you they are there. For example Ireel and hulu. BOTH do HD streaming and downloads., As does netflix and even lovefilm. So How about you STOP accusing me of being a pirate? It's really not nice or wise.

I don't download anything illegally. ALL my movies and music is legal, Napster is my choice for music streaming. For gaming I use Metaboli. Infact it's the one virgin provided as part of the customer area. Again 100% LEGAL. ( and lovefilm and netflix do Blu-Ray!) I was able to stream Cars off it and the total file size was 26GB. The quality was eye watering so if that's not Blu-ray then fair enough)

Going back to this thread just briefly as you're active and given the comments on this thread just thought I'd remiind you of:

Must be a different docki on the board I guess.

Yes, you got all indignant in this thread about usage being all above board then 2 weeks later post a screenshot of your Giganews usage talking about what a quiet month you've been having with only 800GB done.

As a reminder you say here quote:

I don't have my 24MB line yet. I currently have 50mb cable where 16-17TB a month is easy..

That's the problem when you lie so often, easy to lose track of who you are saying what to.

We think he may now be on ADSL24 (C & W), but nothing he says is reliable.

Bob's broadband basic info/help site:
www.robertos.me.uk (now hosted on Tsohost).
ISP history: Demon dialup >> Freeserve dialup >> BT Broadband >> Prodigynet >> Newnet >> O2 Standard.
Purple Cloud for domain, personal email and web space.

Indeed I was but it was disconnected on the 18th of March.. I was on the C & W home at £18.49 a month but moved so cut it off and then had O2 pro but then had to move back to that was cut off too. Back on VM>

And i've done 210GB in the past 2 days on Giganews., And until the day that VM directly contact me to complain about my usage I couldn't give a flying [censored] what you or anybody else thinks..

So move along.. Because it's really boring now.

While posting a couple of weeks later a screenshot - http://img97.yfrog.com/i/giganews.jpg/ - showing a shiny new Giganews subscription, started a week before the above post where you claim to get nothing illegally.

Actually you kinda remind me of another poster on here who was economical with the truth at best, tried to blag newsgroups were legal downloads and keen on bragging about how much bandwidth he used before he was warned by his employer, part of BT, to stop posting excreta on here. Hmm. A claim to work for BT Wholesale, indignant over legality of usage, former Bulldog customer as well. Interesting.

EDIT: Aww bless, you even registered the day after his last post:
