50MB Upgrade charges

So.. to save some cash i down graded to 10mb and will be on 10mb for about 6 months or so. I then plan to go back onto 50mb... BUT

While on the phone i asked if there would be a charge to upgrade and i was told id have to pay a £20 activation fee.... WTF For?!

I still have my 50MB modem.. im still on DOCSIS3 just connected @ 10mb and not 50mb anymore. To put me back on 50mb takes a few mins on a computer their end and no enginer is needed as i already have the modem etc...

Maybe you need to remind them that you were 50Mb customer who been throttled back to 10Mb.

Good idea apart from the guy who downgraded me and the guy i asked about upgrading again in 6 months are the same person
