Moving house, checking area performance

We're moving soon so as to finally ditch our 3G modem and useless ADSL and get back into the world of broadband after years in the wilderness

I'll be going for a cabled area (main reason for moving), but I wondered if there were any especially good forums/places where you can see if other people have had performance issues in particular areas (I can see two just scanning down the list of threads on here).

Virgin's forums might be a good place to start

Cheers, was the sort of thing I was looking for... I'll have a look for my postcode-to-be appearing when I know what it is, narrowing down the areas now.

As long as I'm not right next to a university I'm sure all will be fine
