Wireless Network question

I've had the Virgin 50mb cable service for a couple of weeks now and I'm pleased the the performance. I have a small wireless network consisting of a printer (HP Photosmart) and an Airport Express to stream music from iTunes to my HiFi system.

My question is this: The Hub lost connection and rebooted itself. In doing so, it "forgot" the networked devices and these had to be re-installed from scratch. Is there any way to prevent this happening again?
