Upgrading immediately after signup from 50Mb to 100Mb

For some ridiculous reason the 50Mb package but not the 100Mb one has free installation. I'm quite tempted to sign up for the 50Mb one then upgrade straight away.

Has anyone tried this? Were you able to keep the half price for 6 months offer?
