Virgin Media is UNUSABLE during peak hours

ie: when I am in my home, awake and wanting to use it. Who in the world can just use the internet for gaming between 1am - 9am? It's ridiculous.

Its the same on sky unlimited, Between 6pm and 12am broadband speeds are an absolute joke. I can't use youtube at all without videos pausing to endlessly buffer during those times.

Everything was fine when I was on talktalk who use BT's backhaul, Sky use some [censored] backhaul/network called easynet. As soon as fibre arrives here next month I am going to demand a MAC code and move back to the 21st century with talktalk or perhaps BT infinity.

Urm TalkTalk LLU uses their own network for backhaul Opal.

Sky there was a news item and announcement from them on congestion on some exchanges. The problem is usually the first few miles until the connection gets onto the Sky national backbone.

Virgin Media has also announced network improvements along with the speed increases.

BTW if you are on full LLU with Sky then no MAC is available.
