Hi,
I live in a fibre area and want virgin.
The router has to be in the under the stairs, the stairs are about 12 feet from the front of the house. The house is being renovated and carpet down soon.
My worry is that I do not want a big cable tacked along the walls when the installation takes place, I want it under the suspended floor and out an airbrick like how the tv cable currently runs.
As I understand it virgin connect their fibre cable (1) to a coax cable (2) that terminates into a plastic junction box on the outside the house which then connects to the final coax cable (3) that enters the house and plugs into the router.
if I was to run a coax cable (3) from under the stairs under my floor and out to the front of the house in and curled in anticipation of the engineer coming up would that be ok?
Really appreciate responses.
Cheers
