Cost for not returning SH2

[link to this post]

Hi

I'm about to have my broadband cancelled with VM and was wondering if anyone could tell me how much Virgin Media charge for not returning the Superhub or Superhub 2?

Thanks in advance.

In my experience they rarely bother to ask for replaced kit (I've got 2 superhubs and a modem in my loft + one SH in use). I don't think they have any proper returns mechanism other than engineer pickup and I suspect the return postage and handling would cost more than the thing costs them to buy new.

It's up to them to specify how they want it returned if you leave.

kwikbreaks - I think the same I still have two samsung tivos here of theres and they havn't made any attempts to retreive the equipment yet.

pete - if its £50 then sort of don't mind, as its a cracking bit of kit and I will use it with my sky connection.

Think again - a cable hub won't work on ADSL or VDSL

I wouldn't bother even if it were free. I certainly wouldn't be willing to pay £50 for one.

I find if it's current generation kit they ask for it back but if they no longer provide it to customers they don't care
